This little ram is inspired by the Urial, a wild sheep that is native to the artisan’s homeland. The ram is known to be a bold and resilient creature, ready to take on life’s challenges.

About the craftsmanship
In Afghanistan, women traditionally do embroidery and sewing, and they use these skills in the creation of this beautiful ornament. According to Saleha, one of the arrtisans, Afghan refugees are fond of the of wild sheep in Afghanistan, because they grew up seeing them all around.
