Fashion, Art and a FAIRer Future

At FAIR, we believe that fashion should be about more than what we wear. It should celebrate creativity, respect the people who make our clothes and make better use of the world’s resources. That’s why we’re delighted to bring together three independent UK creatives who share our passion for doing things differently: No More Nobody, Out of Sync and Brighton-based artist Hattie Gordon.
Although their work takes different forms, each offers a distinctive perspective on how we can bring more thought, individuality and creativity into our lives.
No More Nobody: Fashion with a purpose
Founded by designer Silva Hrabar-Owens, No More Nobody challenges the idea that sustainable fashion has to be understated or compromise on style. Its bold, contemporary designs combine circular fashion principles with a commitment to recognising the people behind our clothes.

By using reclaimed fabrics, working with ethical makers and social enterprises, and creating small-batch collections, the brand gives new life to materials while celebrating the skills and stories of women whose contributions to fashion are too often overlooked.
At FAIR, we’ve always believed that the people behind our products matter just as much as the products themselves. No More Nobody brings that belief to life through expressive design, thoughtful production and a refreshing approach to responsible fashion.
Out of Sync: Thoughtful design, made to last
Out of Sync takes a considered approach to contemporary clothing, combining versatile design with a focus on responsible materials and UK manufacturing. Its collections are designed to work beyond a single season, with layering and longevity at their heart.
From its early use of rescued fabrics to its exploration of materials such as Tencel and bamboo silk, the brand demonstrates how thoughtful design can help reduce waste without losing sight of how clothes look and feel.
This fits naturally with FAIR’s ethos: buying fewer, better things that we genuinely love and want to wear again and again. We’re pleased to support an independent brand showing that everyday wardrobe essentials can be both stylish and more considered.
Hattie Gordon: Colour, creativity and connection
Sustainability isn't only about clothing. It’s also about supporting independent creatives, valuing craftsmanship and choosing things that bring lasting pleasure.
Brighton-based artist Hattie Gordon does exactly that through her vibrant gouache paintings, featuring characterful animals, exotic birds and exuberant flowers. Her colourful artwork and prints bring a sense of fun and individuality to everyday spaces, while her support for the Just a Card campaign champions the importance of buying from independent artists and makers.
We love that Hattie’s work brings another dimension to FAIR. Her art reminds us that living more sustainably needn’t mean living with less colour, personality or joy.
A shared vision
From circular fashion and responsible manufacturing to independent art, these three creatives reflect what FAIR has championed since 2008: a more thoughtful way to shop, supporting people and planet without compromising on creativity or style.
We hope you’ll discover something new, meet the people behind the work and find pieces that you’ll treasure for years to come.
Meet Silva, Kate (from Out of Sync) and Hattie and browse their wonderful collections on October 3rd at FAIR from 5-7pm.
Refreshments will be served.
